Central Police Organisation

The Central Police Organisation (CPO) exam syllabus consists of four main sections for Paper 1: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Paper 2 focuses exclusively on English Language and Comprehension. Each of the four sections in Paper 1 has 50 questions, with each question carrying one mark, and a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in both papers. 

SSC CPO exam pattern is such that it comprises Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Questions in Paper 1 and 2 are objective types. The Paper 1 exam comprises questions from four sections, while Paper 2 consists of one section.

The UPSC CPO 2025 notification was released on September 26, 2025, for 3,073 Sub-Inspector vacancies in Delhi Police and CAPFs. The online application period was from September 26, 2025, to October 16, 2025, and the computer-based Paper-I exam is scheduled for November-December 2025. A correction window was open from October 24 to October 26, 2025.
