BPSC CDPO
The BPSC CDPO exam is a three-stage process: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. The Prelims are an objective test of 150 marks, followed by the Mains which includes compulsory (General Hindi, General Studies I & II) and optional papers (Home Science, Psychology, Sociology, or Labour and Social Welfare). The final stage is a 120-mark interview.
Exam stages
- An objective-type exam with 150 questions covering General Knowledge and General Awareness. There is no negative marking.
- A descriptive exam for candidates who clear the Prelims cut-off. It has two sections:
- Compulsory papers: General Hindi, General Studies I, and General Studies II.
- Optional papers: Choose one from Home Science, Psychology, Sociology, or Labour and Social Welfare.
- Compulsory papers: General Hindi, General Studies I, and General Studies II.
- The final stage for candidates who pass the Mains exam. It is a 120-mark personality test.

Eligibility
criteria

minimum age is 21 years. The maximum age is 37 years for general
category candidates, with relaxations for other categories.
